Is the scan painful or invasive?+
Not at all. You simply lie still on an open-air table for about 7 minutes. No needles, no discomfort, and minimal radiation, less than a cross-country flight.
Can I use my FSA or HSA?+
Yes. DEXA scans are eligible for reimbursement with FSA, HSA and HRA accounts. We make it easy at checkout.
Do I need to be fit already?+
No. This is your starting point. The whole purpose is to see exactly where you are today so we can build the right plan to move forward.
How should I prepare?+
Fast for at least 2 hours, stay hydrated, skip exercise that day, wear comfortable clothing with no metal, and remove jewelry, watches and belts.
What does the report measure?+
Total body fat percentage, fat mass and lean muscle by region, visceral fat, bone density, and your resting metabolic rate, plus a personalized plan from our team.
Is there a weight limit?+
